We are offering these New, Older Stock (NOS) American Manufactured Mil-Spec Silver Plated, BNC Double Female Adapters sealed in individual factory packages. Amphenol no longer silver plates the connector body. Your purchase is for one (1) Amphenol Model UG-914/U Type, P/N 31-219 Mil-Spec Silver plated Double Female Adapter sealed in original Amphenol Factory packaging. Mechanical: Construction consists of a Silver Plated Brass Body, a Silver Plated Beryllium Copper (BeCu) Center conductor for the lowest contact resistance and higher contact pressure. Dupont Teflon® is the Dielectric per Mil-Spec MIL-P-19468 , known for its permittivity, strength, and higher withstanding voltages over a wide range of frequencies and temperatures. The Silver plating is of the Mil-Spec Matte type finish with anti-tarnish properties. There is zero observed silver tarnishing on any of these adapters. These were sealed in original Amphenol Factory Boxes. Electrical: 50-Ohm impedance, DC to 11-Ghz. The Amphenol's Chinese version is rated from DC to 4-Ghz Today, Amphenol manufactures a non silver plated similar adapter at their co-owned manufacturing facility in Shenzhen, China under their CONNEX RFX brand. The Chinese made P/N is 31-219RFX and is Nickel plated and the dielectric is a thermoplastic called TPX™ . Amphenol connectors produced in China are NOT Mil-Spec as Mil-Spec connectors are required to be produced here in the USA at a US Government approved facility. MSRP for the Chinese nickel plated version is $11.43; however, the street prices are somewhat less.
